wow great pics question, seeing as you do the tug of war, do any of you develop your dogs bite, i dont mean teach bite work, but just delevlop a stronger fuller bite on a pad ect? as with having working dogs of a diff type i know this helps with mine and means they cant half hang on, my malis more extreme in his bite which for some trials will mark him down a bit as he likes to tear rather then hold but thats a mali trait sometimes thanks

well if im understanding ride i see it like this, a dog need a good bite and in training its getting better and better. and that is what you need to see. allso in games like tow events it most be better and better everytime. the only thing the dog need is good state of mind to hold the good bite and whont let go what ever it takes. i love to see a good strong bite in a dog and i love to see when they hold on to and whe train mostly on springpole. bud importand is strong bite and good mind and make clever disicions when needed, concentration and they must be focust. hope i make it a little clear if the dog got bad bite and let loos easely mostly and he is fast out of concentration and whant to do something else than you have harder way to go. bud in mine opinion every breed can do tow if the will is there and stay focus on game, it go greaht!! my brown white dog, he have little focus problem. and sometimes he whant to go for other dog and he is to focust on other dog, and lose his biterole because he not focust. thats what im training on whit that boy bite is good strong! so hope i have help you little out what about bite and tow if not please be free and i try to explain again. sorry for the bad englisch bud i do my best. i allready have problem wriding dutch so this is allready a miracle to me hehehehe all the best rilana ohw and stil can do happy new year for all that read and most importand a healty new year!!!!

think i have to agree with what you have said there, thanks diff breeds differ a lot having a Belgian Malinois has opend my eyes a lot. he is from KNPV blood and is extreme a lot of ppl over here in the uk are not huge fans of the mali as they are german shepherd people. i have started my lad on the spring pole for exersice and helping his bite too, i think my worry would be with my malinois that he would target the other dog too, maybe not once he is on the bite roll but i dont know. i had big issues with him letting go of things, not so much now due to training. but hes not shepherd like in his bite its teaching him to hold more then rag all the time too as he goes OTT lol and thus sometimes loses that full mouth as hes not thinking hes young and just needs it developing more which we are doing. but i have to be the one doing it as he is very high in defence with strangers altho much calmer then he was. thanks
