mega mate, brings a whole new side to the dogs ey! Love it, we should meet up and get out next year. PM me your number as i lost my phone. I still got the same number though i was getting fed up with the bullshit that follows the bulls, and the sporting dog scene, getting the dogs out in the field sorts the wheat from the chaff pal.

Head is very narrow and lacking muscle in the hind quarters. Do you use the spring pole much only that bite does not look very committed.

I'm really not interested Gremlin, go and troll somewhere else. I thought that's why you put pics up...for others to comment. Or would you rather i lied like the rest of the sheep. You have him standing against an a frame..Anyone can see he has no intent of going over that. You have him jumping up at a spring pole taking a half hearted bite...Another pretender.

You want a dog with high prey drive...then you try to tame that drive with an electric collar. Dont add up? ?

Amazing looking dog, I would love to have a Bullterrier like this boy. Next week I'll be visiting a big-game hunter who uses the following breeds (or crosses thereof): Dogo Argentinos/Spanish Alanos/Cane Corsos/Neos/bullmastiffs/Presas etc. I like the idea of having a medium-sized dog like Sonny to go with a bigger Dogo-cross bitch to look after the property. It's a crime that there aren't more of this type about.
Get more photos up please.
P.S. I'm sure I recognize gremlin from another board. He has fat show dogs and breeds for colour...and seems chuffed that his bitch can accompany him on 3 mile runs (shouldn't be hard considering he brags about being 16 stones and therefore pretty waddlesome himself, I'd imagine!lol)

cracking dog! which most EBT looked like this to be honest! and with regards to the E-collar, as a trainer and worker of Malinois's and over extreme drive breeds, its all about controlling the drive, if you dont you have a time bomb on your hands. once the dog understands what is needed of them you dont need such tools. saying that i always have a prong on mine, and you will know why if you ever meet him

I've actually had someone enquire with me as to where he could get one to try out at Boar hunting in Europe. He eventually went with a Dogo pup he was offered as it was easier but is still wanting to import one. There are always people who will try to knock others because they think it will help their cause...it's almost always those that have tried and failed to make a name for themselves. I wouldn't mind at all if it was well informed people making valid points but it's just spiteful nonsense. How you can tell a bite is or isn't committed from a photo I don't know. He also said about him having no intention of going over the A-frame...quite right, neither did I, I've never done A-frame with him. I put him on it for the photo but I didn't answer him because I didn't want to entertain him.

Everyone else I've spoken to who's used one also considers it essential kit. I very rarely have to use it but if I didn't have it there wouldn't be many places where I could let him off the lead. When he's out he has a muzzle, an E-collar and another collar with a handle (an agitator collar). It makes people assume he's psychotic but he's actually very well trained and mannered, I'm just taking sensible precautions so I can never be accused of being irresponsible.

i always have a prong on mine, and you will know why if you ever meet him I have actually used a prong collar before which works well but I've had him get out of it before when he's managed (somehow) to get the links apart!...God knows how he did it. It means that I lost confidence in that particular collar but may consider another type if I can find one.

yea my malis done this on a few occassions now and i dont know how either as it isnt one of those quick realease ones lol. thats why he wears his big agitation collar or harness when working/walking too hey my lad has a prong agitation collar and aggitation leather muzzle, so i know what you mean ppl look at me like i think i am something im not. if that makes sence when im really protecting him from stupid dog owners. he wont attack unless attacked, and most dogs will run at him then back off which is good as he just stands there and stares at them. i hate having a male like this to be honest, but my god what a working dog! you cant tell from pics about bite really, i train dogs to do bite work for a living and i couldnt see anything wrong. some ppl are just fuck witts pure and simple and do anything to wind others up. you do right you didnt rise to it . and you win at the end of the day because you have one hell of a dog

I also have the problem that I'm a big fat skinhead which doesn't help LOL. Even my sister says I look like a thug when I'm out with my Dogs. Oh well, all you can do is try to change perceptions, not that I care for my own sake, it's the Dog's welfare that concerns me. Thanks for your kind words about him, I'm very proud and I'd have another one tomorrow if I had the space. Here's some more pics as requested Frank.

Love the look of this dog, as far as im concerned this is how all EBT's should look. There is a perfect balance of drive, athleticism and EBT shape but not over emphasised.
