yeah i ment how to make the whole thing.. the frame etc..
i wanna concrete it into the ground, but so that its removable..
Like them spiderweb washing line thingys.. you put that pole in the ground then get a pole thats just abit smaller and it slides in and out..
Can you get a simalr thing for wood?
could i use a simple Hangman type frame for it?

a punch bag wall bracket mate fixed to the outside wall, then you can fold it up when not in use, i saw a spring closer off of a garden gate the other day looks pretty strong if not an old inner tube used as the spring part , cheap as chips. that rabbit you caughts skin will do for them to grip onto.

mine is like the hangman but put ply on the sides to give it extra strenght, would be even stronger if you can find someone who does joinery, depends on what you want.

i have a 6 inch bolt in the side of the house at about 9 feet and a 6 foot concrete fence post the other side a piece if rope going between the 2 with the spring at the high end with tug toys hanging off it.Worx brill the nearer the spring i put the toy the harder the workout there must be very little slack in the rope or it wont work properlly and can be move by just slipping the rope off the top of the fence post uk.youtube.com/watch?v=R8iecAu8kMw

yeah martin you want 4x4 here is a cpl of pics i found..some stuff you might need for your springpole not a 100% sure its right as i havent made one but this is what i am going too use all the best allan Lets start off with what you need. 1 spring link 1 quick link 1 spring from cosmos staffords a piece of 3/4 braided poly rope. Now you have your basic spring pole. It should look something like the picture below If you make your own post you will need. 1 10' 4x4 1 8' 4x4 1 eye bolt 2 lag bolts 1 hex bolt You need to cut two notches in the 4x4 like shown in the picture below. hope this helps martin

ideally, the cross section would be higher out of the ground, i would also use a stronger spring giving more fight!
