cheers shakka, you missed a good day mate. i know how you feel, misty keeps getting different injury's to the same foot, but now i can concentrate on harry and let her rest up. maybe see you at the next one! there were about 8-10 good dogs in Harry's class, all good pullers, so i was well chuffed he done more than them. and he done great on the a-frame, so i am over the moon with him. now even Tina has caught the bug and she's got it bad!!!! p.s. misty is now a champion. x2 comformation. x1 a-frame.

No worries mate, after all that's what everyones there for to get the best out of your dog, and if someone can help you do that then all well and good IMO. As for the A-Frame you can try my friend, but i've retained the title once, i'm sure we can do it again

brad, misty is going into boot camp and when she's ready in september she will be coming for dolly's title. remember you only just got it at sacs last time when misty grabbed my sleeve. dolly got 35 and misty got 34. will be aiming to put that right.lol your a good sport mate, a true gamester might i say but that title belongs in my trophy case next to the weight pull.lol gamester= sportsman or sporting dog, someone who plays the game.

You can jibe all you like my friend, but we both know that Dolly will be going home with the gold and unfortuneately Misty will be having to go home with silver yet again , not that silver is a bad achievement. Always nice to have a bit of sporting competion mate, shame some people take it too far and too seriously. Looking foward to our next encounter, Y.I.S. brad

Maybe in 6 months we will take the Harry boy on with Abbey we will see how she is in 6 months time and bring her back into the fold, slowly. was collars and baiting allowed ? even though i know harry didnt need baiting, was it allowed.

did see some baiting in both classes. in the novice (first timers) class there were some dogs wearing collars. this was an ed-Reid event, so i assume collars and baiting were quite legitimate.

did see some baiting. in the novice class there were some dogs wearing collars. funny as f**ck, your dogs pulled twice and you are a professional. just because he wears as harness, pmsl, personally i prefer the hareness, but each to there own. i certainly wouldnt imply someone was a novice for pulling on a collar.

Matt I think you may be a little mixed up, as the dogs were weighed by the lady from Ghostlyease on them vet scale things before the weight pull started, she asked the owners if the dog had pulled before and if they would like to go in the novice or experienced class, the owner chose, the experienced dogs went first, then the novices, collar or harness made no difference to the class they was in, yes the cart and rail system is the only UPF sanctioned one in the UK but this was an ED Reid show and was run by his rules not UPF rules. The Daisy bitch who indeed pulled x most body weight was awesome and its a shame she did not enter the other class, superb pulling bitch and a really nice looking one to boot, always next time!!!!

And as an extra note to add I believe there is a big red dog called Clyde who had only been out for his 2nd or 3rd time weight pulling, now if that dogs owners put some time into him that dog will be awesome he wasnt even trying on the day!

whats the most bodyweight pulled by any of your dogs this year ? clyde did well but would have to pull nearly 2000lbs to beat that daisy dog. Harry and boomber did good too.
