last nite our puppy had swallowed a lamb rib bone about 3" long in whole. we had took him to the vets first thing and they checked him over and said he couldn't feel anything so he said it should pass through.? has anyone had this done to them before and what had happen? is there anything that you could help it to pass through? he's seems fine like being a lil git as usual and eating and drinking fine. but is there anything to look out for because the vet didnt really know his ass from his albow!

if the bone is in the gut it should break down and he should pass it,feed soft food for a couple of day's.if he's an older pup he should have no problem with it.

As said im sure it will be fine just keep a close eye on the pup
Any signs of the pup preying (front legs flat bum in the air) its in pain and get it to the vets
All the best
