Stella is on a diet and i am increasing her walks which is helping her joints loads. but as she is dog aggressive i cant let her off lead for a really good blow out. does anyone have any ideas how i can up her excersise without walking for extra hours? i know thats a lil lazy on my part i do 2 hours a day with her n coz of work and it getting dark earlier i cant relly do anymore. Ive seen vidoes of people using a mill which looked great but not sure if it would work for her

Has she got a problem with recall? It's a difficult thing to deal with but it's worth putting in the extra effort so that she can be let off the lead. I had a similar problem with my Sonny and had to resort to an electric shock collar in the end and it's absolutely brilliant, he now returns first time every time without fail even when he's got massive temptation (foxes, cats, other dogs etc) and I've hardly had to use it at all, just the warning buzzer is enough to put him off not returning. Have a look in the obedience section for my write up and a link to the place I bought it from.
If you could let her off the lead and be sure she won't get herself into trouble you could use a ball which is a simple and effective way of getting them fit.

never use an a frame for fitness, its far too much on the joints and should only be used rarely get a walky bike instead.

a frame once a week max, alot of dogs get damaged joints by over use....Flirt pole is great and i can do it whilst drinking a can of cider lol bicycle work is great for a dog to knacker themselves out and my new favourite is drag pulling...the problem i have is getting my dog to stop.

flirt pole is brilliant for fitness as is biking but id stick with the roadwork if u cant let her off lead.
A mill will work but not all dogs will use one.

thanks for the advise guys, im going to vary our route to include harder hills and things, her recall is ok if there is noone else around i used to take her to a park that had a tennis court and let her run in there as it is secure. The problem is other dogs as soon as she see's one will focus 100% on getting to it. she is better on a lead she used to try and drag me to the other side of the road but now will pass one okish so long as it doesnt get too close to her. I'll look into a flirt pole my mums garden is quite large so i do circuits round there with her and she likes chasing me round lol.
