may sound mad but was thinking of getting all the skull's of my long gone tropper's, and bringing them back and cleaning them up, though it would be good to compare them see if/what change's there are. what you guy's think.

Obviously they've been gone a good while and are just bone, just thought it would be interesting to study them. Put them on display in a cabinet. Told lisa it's no worse than a leather chair in room.

My uncle did this with the family's old Chihuahua (the one my mum managed to get run over by a bus). It's eye sockets were so huge that it's eyeballs used to fall out! That's quite common with them apparently! It was a very strange looking skull...almost alien looking.
I think that there's absolutely nothing wrong with it and it's an interesting project for someone with a particular interest in the development of the skull over the years and the effect it has on the dog.
If you stick them in a bucket of bleach they come up really nice...don't ask me how I know that lol!

I can see the logic in that but I doubt it's going to be the latest hot item in home furnishings lol.

Sounds an excellent idea but you would need a few examples over time for comparison. You need to boil the bones up in the kitchen first . Would you make a video of the operation or just take photos?

Was gardening the other day and had a rather stubborn stone that turned out to be one of our long gone guys skulls (oopsie!). It was quite facinating to look at but got re-buried quite sharpish as it was also a bit creepy.

As i said some where else on this forum , you need to get a good camera and yea it does sound a bit mad , but if the project gets off the ground i'd be interested in seeing the display cabinet when it's finished. ATB paul.
