One researcher recommends checking the dog's diet to make sure he is getting enough B vitamins and is not getting an excess of carbohydrates.
Some dogs will improve if they are fed more often, so you may want to increase the number of meals (but keep the total daily intake about the same

Christian you may have a point their regarding the carbohydrate.Which would back up lee saying that pinapple works which is full of carbs. all of which though is sugar! interesting one.I will try the pineapple and then i may go with something like potato skins to see if that helps just for the different carbs!! thanks

Because it's tasty, especially that cat poo. Alot of puppies will eat it because it contains bacteria which helps with digestion but there may be vitamin or mineral deficiances that are the cause in older dogs. Then there's always the mystery of what goes on in a dog's head...it might be that they just like eating it or there might be other behavioural reasons. I know that Macy will ignore cat poo in some places but she will always eat it if it's in her garden (territorial?).

i have also read that a change of food can cause it too. but also some dogs are just to proud to leave it there. but my bitch has done a crap an in doors an ate it then when out puked it up! maybe because she knows it naughty??? i know dogs would rather hide eat or run away rather than be told off. but im gonna try the pine apple too. cheers

complex B , about £1.50 from holland and barrat, takes about a week to work, helps the body absorb more from the food, so therefore aids the bodies use of mins and vits, also increases stamina.
