Got this from K9 Mag to day Hi ady, I'll keep this one very brief as I know your time is precious. Today, in the United Kingdom, the Government has launched a public website asking people to have their say on which laws they would like to see repealed / reformed. We are unashamedly asking for your support in calling on the Government to end the practice of seizing family dogs as a result of nothing more than what they happen to look like (BSL). Did you know, a staggeringly high amount of seized dogs die whilst in the 'care' of police? (ask our friends at DDAWatch for the numbers, they are eye watering!) Breed specific legislation hasn't protected the public from dog attacks. It hasn't lead to more responsible dog ownership. And it hasn't been anything other than a massive burden on the tax payer and a complete abuse of fair, effective animal welfare principles. If you take this opportunity to just take 10 seconds to add your say here k9m.ag/bslrepeal it COULD make the WORLD of difference. Thank you for your time. Independent Digital Media Ltd, IDM, 72 New Bond St, London W1S 1RR, UNITED KINGDOM Ihave tried to go through the link but it is telling me that there is an over load of 16000 people per second so be patient if the link wont work type in k9 magazine

its quite shocking how far new labour intended to intrude into our personal liberties, i wonder where it would have ended up, i will never vote labour. lets hope this coalition government are prepared to repeal the d.d.a which the conservatives brought in.

Agreed, they adopted the worst aspects of socialism and combined it with the worst aspects of capitalism. I voted Labour in 97 but won't do so again...not without a massive shake up.
