Hello all, the Players Club UK alongside the Iron Dog assc' are now pleased to let you know that we are planning a joint training/ demonstration day, which will be based at an equestrian centre in Guilford. We have confirmation of the venue, which both offers indoor and outdoor facilities, and the demonstrations will take the form of both experienced and titled dogs in both sports, alongside an explination of training methods. We will confirm the date with you all soon, and the likely ticket price will be £5 per head-limited to 200 places. Have a go sessions will be charged by the handler not dog, and will be a smaller fee. We hope to put on a 'Banging Display' with some awesome dogs in both sports, and want to showcase the more formal and disciplined aspects of both of these demanding sports- so it would be great if you feel able to support these displays. (if demand or interest shows itself training evenings will follow in both sports). Just had confirmation today-we have an advanced Shutz' handler and his dog, and proffesional PP worker as part of display, alongside some equipment being brought in to make a course in the grounds should time allow after all the displays-will confirm dates soon- but looks like either Sunday 12th or 19th September. It will be tickets in advance-due to limited spectator area, and we want to offer you a banging day-full details soon. www.playersclubuk.com Confirmed date.... 19TH Sept Equestrian centre in Guilford....Lots more info to follow

This is an initial event hosted by The Southern Working Dog Alliance, and as such we hope to spawn specific training days at a number of venue's around the London area, and also due to the interest from various other disciplins hope to put on other display days to widen the nature of our work. So although there are some that will miss this time- there will be a chance to either join us in training, or come to another display. In mid August the posters will be up here and elsewhere, tickets will be available, and address and postcode will be supplies. It promisses to be at least a really great day out -with some cracking displays, and a chance to one on one ask those who excell at these sports, more of what its really about. Still lots more info to follow sold over 40 tickets so far so please get in touch ASAP To avoid disapointment
