Flick is completely obsessed with food really to the point of madness, now she is never the type to share, even when i got the pups weaned over to a dry food she would try and snatch it from them. What came next was a big surprise. When she was given a whole rabbit to devour left some then looked up at the pups worrying like then went into them and just regurgitate it back up. I thought it was really nice to see. She must feel as though the rabbit is the most natural thing for her and so she carries on in a natural way. Now if i ever thought flick was bad she makes her self look like an angel compared to the pups, one big ruthless pack.
Anybody else seen this happen.

Ive read somewere that bitches will often do this to help wean the pups.. mien hasn't done it tho..
i dotn think its juts coz its rabbit tbh coz mines back on BARF diet and she hasnt done it yet..
one thing tho.. id be careful with feeding a full rabbit coz quite oftent he pelvis wil get lodged into the dogs Intestine coz they dotn chew it then you got big troubles.. i normaly juts cuit the back end of then take the legs of it n throw the pelvis away...

Flick has always been pretty good with chewing up a whole rabbit. If i was to give smaller junks then she would dare to swallow it whole. I've watched her pass out more than once through this, then its a case of lifting her back legs up and banging hard on her back. Chicken backs i've found is the worst, but the rabbit is a safe bet for her. Cured the crying in the morning though, i just chuck flick in with them and go back to sleep for a bit, works a charm as they are still suckling like crazy and she is not putting enough effort into telling them no. Any way they seem to be shifting now the price has gone down to £300. Makes me wonder if i paid to much for flick but then it was not a reccesion then.
