Please welcome Stan, Ralphs birthday present!
We started off looking at greyhounds, then were looking at what was on offer on preloved, then we ended up having a wander round the local stray pound and Ralph picked our rather chunky puppy.
Stan is about a year old and has been at the pound for about three weeks. He has been fine meeting Biffa (even though she was being moody) and Troop. He is a big chunky boy, once he is full grown he will be quite an old shape staffy.
The only problem we have had with him is he is scared stiff if wearing a slip lead, choke chain, or having a collar put over his head??? He had a small panic before he got in the car but i thought he was ok, but then in the garden I tried to put a proper collar on him and he paniced, twisted my finger in the choke chain he had on and bit me while trying to bite the collar.

Actually, it's an early birthday present - my birthday is in October. Here's a few more photos of Stan The dogs are still negotiating the pack hierarchy. Troop knows that he's top dog, but Stan thinks otherwise.

It is with regret that we had to return Stan to Jazmil Kennels today. We tried our best to tame him, but he bit and scratched Bob, and bit me, this morning. Whilst Biffa and Troop were friendly with him, they also were not 100% happy.
We now have what the kennel described as a Labrador cross. We think that it is more likely to be a Staff/Rotty cross.
