I've decided that the name given to my new Staff by the rehoming centre is not appropriate. I'm looking for a non-human type name of 3 syllables or less, such as Viridor (well, we already have a Biffa). Open to any and all suggestions.

I have always wanted a male staff named Logan, don't know is thats too human for you? But if you like you are free to use it as my partner isn't allowing me to get Milla a big brother from the shelter so i won't have a Logan for awhile P.s. i think Stan is cute reminds me of a Black Moor goldfish i had for 10years he was called Stanley though after the Stanley knife haha

I actually quite like that. I am a fan of Logan's Run, so I think that may well be his new name, unless anyone else comes up with something. Logan is certainly better than anything that I've come up with so far.

Was thinking again today and thought Ami (pronounced as Ah-may) it is Hebrew for "to be loved by people" or "love of people" i think its nice but then again it depends if you like names with meaning or unusual one's too

It is with regret that we had to return Stan to Jazmil Kennels today. We tried our best to tame him, but he bit and scratched Bob, and bit me, this morning. Whilst Biffa and Troop were friendly with him, they also were not 100% happy.
We now have what the kennel described as a Labrador cross. We think that it is more likely to be a Staff/Rotty cross.

Sorry to hear about Stan all the best with Java does have some similarity with the Rott markings but then again could be more Dobermann than Rottie, mixes are a mystery

We tried the best we could with him and "coped" with him for a week, but i think we knew from day one he wasnt quite right for us.
Java certainly has a rottie shape to her, rottie size ears (although they are the foldy sort) and a rottie size and shape face including ample jowels.
