Staffy skin itchiness

Hi all,

My Staffy girl suffers from some skin issues. She is almost 1.5 yo and to some extent she always seemed to scratch more than other dogs. She sometimes scratches like all the flees in the county are on her and its got so bad now she broke the skin under both armpits and I can’t get her to heal. She makes me feel like a bad owner that doesn’t look after her.

Things I’ve done so far ….

The first vet I used to take her to diagnosed it as Fox Mange and treated her accordingly. It only stopped in intensity for a short period of time. I thought the guy was a plonker for a few reasons and started going to another vet

I then looked up on the internet and decided to give her flea treatments every month and that seems to work for a couple of weeks and then it gets bad again…

The new vet I take her to recommended some shampoo once a week that seems to work for a few days.

I’m at work now and can’t remember the name of the things I gave her but will be able to add that here later on today if it makes a difference.

To abuse you guys now….. Has anyone heard of this before? Anyone know what it might be and most importantly, what can I do about it?

hello mate , not sure if this will help i work for a company (natures own) they make herbal produts in liquid form . one produt being called "de itch ", i have used this produt on my dog she has a allergy to grass . make a huge differents to how much she itchs.
I also know many other people that use this , to treet dry and itchy skin .
