alano great looking dogs.i have never seen one in the flesh.but they are meant to be cat like agile and fast on the run.my mastiff is a cane corso cross presa canario. but he is a typical mastiff loves to lay about until someone knocks on the door, then he gos into gaurd mode . but he is good with the kids and friends.there are pics of him in 'our dogs' under members pictures.

The alano vary alot they can be very undesot and bulldogy and there are others that are sissor bite and more mastif like. Body wise they are not as compact as say an old buldog but still exteramly powerful. they are alot lighter built and have more a small masiff structure. One of my fav breeds!! They are beautiful dogs! we were very close to getting one a few months back but the litter we what we saw was not what we wanted. They are great gaurd dogs and best of all have nearly no dog agression which always makes life alot easier. A very good friend of out bought them into the UK and has somebeautiful looking dogs i will see if he has any pictures.

Excellent site, just hope the wife doesn´t expect me to talk to her for the next couple of days
Got a mate here with a HUGE alano/pit/mastiff/godknowswhat cross. Haven´t seen him for a while but will try and get a pic from him when I do. The scariest dog I have ever seen in my life
Some real good info.
Cheers
