Shakka is definately right about socialisation, puppies need to learn the body language of other dogs to find out when to back off, it isn't a problem that is perculiar to Kye but rather a learning process that all dogs have to go through. It only becomes a real problem when dogs reach adulthood without having learned the basics of body language as other dogs will be even less tolerant to an adult dog and Kye, being a stafford is unlikely to back down. Try to get your dog to meet other trustworthy dogs and don't worry if he gets "told off" by them, it's all part of the learning process.

When you say "go for him" do you mean that they were trying to attack him or give him a warning nip? It's quite normal for dogs to nip a puppy as a warning. If you don't trust your mates dogs then find dogs that you do. NeilSherlock's EBT Lily was very dominant with my dog Macy (me and Neil are brothers BTW) but she's now been "told off" by her a few times and gets the message, they get on very well now that the power struggle has been sorted out and Lily now understands when to leave Macy alone. Puppies will often push their luck with other dogs, trying to impose their dominance but they don't often understanding the body language of growling and showing teeth until it's followed up with a nip.

hi dog yeah they growl & try to nip him.but 1 or 2 have tried to bite him..today we meet another dog owner kye was trying to lick the other dogs face but other dog gave him a growl & tried to give kye a warning nip..& kye did go into submission..but when he got back up he was trying to nip other dogs face..by this stage the other owner said kye being a staffy wouldnt stop nipping..lol

If he was submissive after being nipped then he is learning but they often take a while to get it fully, they are very tough and a little bite doesn't always put them off. I'm not going to slate the owner that said he wouldn't stop nipping, there is alot of mis-information and rumour about staffies, the truth is that they are very intelligent and will learn quickly given the right training.
Above all don't worry, all this is perfectly normal and he will learn, it just takes a little time. The more experience of other dogs he gets the quicker he will progress.

...do you think i should take him to dog training...alza Yes I would recommend taking him along, search your local area for training schools maybe go there without Kye to see if it would suit you as some schools vary in training methods. The more places you take him the better he will be. I took Lunar & Olsen to training Lunar didn't enjoy it very much but she got the basics apart from walking nicely!! Olsen was quite good then I stopped as they where getting better being out and about. I then took Olsen back as i wanted him to learn to pull on command for weightpull, he was even better when we went back stayed for around 6 weeks then left again as it was just me with about 8 middle aged women all with Collies, they all loved Olsen, but i felt really out of place!!!! Now I know wherever we go my dogs behave very well (99.9% of the time). With the aggression being showed to Kye as Dog has said he is learning that not all dogs like to play with exubarant puppies and in time he will learn just remember to exercise caution with strange dogs that don't look like they want to play..
