Fab 1st Day!

;D Cheers for fab first day with SACS - I'm Jackie and saw the meet at Margate yesterday, I returned with Saffy my 6mth Lurcher/Saluki cross pup - though some of you identified the Bedlington in her too!

Everyone was really welcoming and I'm so glad I saw this yesterday as I've been thinking there must be something more I could offer Saffy - and she is such a sociable girl, and loves running.

Although she pranced after the lure like she was in the ballet (good grief!), her ears soon perked up once she saw what the other dogs made of it, so we'll be back for more.

Hi Jackie, Saffy will soon get the hang of it I promise. A good way of getting her interested is to buy a lunge whip from Creature comforts(Harold rd) tie a carrier bag to the end of the line and move it along the floor let her catch it ocassionally so she keeps interested. Hope you like it on here. look forward to see some pics.

Hello Jackie, as Lee says she will get the hang of it, it usually takes a couple of goes for them to really get into it and after that they go mad for it, welcome.
